But once a year, on the third weekend in September, these artists gather together in Crawford County, Wisconsin, at the Driftless Area Art Festival. Enjoy a drive with exceptional scenery. The Kickapoo Valley Reserve is an 8,600-acre tract of public land located between the villages of La Farge and Ontario in southwestern Wisconsin. Its history, resources, administration, and recreational diversity make it unique - a place like no other.
Wildcat Mountain State Park offers canoe rentals as well as a shuttle service for paddling the Kickapoo River. There is also hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and hunting at the park.
